How Do I Praise You Lord ??

How do I praise You, Lord
When my words are so time worn?
When the only phrases left have
Of their power been shorn?

How do I praise You
When I am so often confused and lost?
How do I praise You
When I need to praise You the most?

How do I praise You Lord
How do I describe Your Amazing Grace,
When those very words
Have become so commonplace?

Do I get down on my knees
And lift my hands into the sky?
Does that give the words the power
To lift Your Name on high?

I will praise You from my heart
In a language my mind can’t comprehend.
In words that haven’t lost their power,
In phrases only You can understand.

I will praise You like the Psalmist
With words that paint a picture of Your love.
So that everyone can see
It comes only from above.

I will praise You when I am weak
Knowing it is Your Strength that makes me strong.
I will praise You when the days are short
And the nights, dark and long.

I will praise You when I am sleeping
In my dreams, I will know You are close.
When I least feel like praising You,
That is when I will praise You the most.

Now and forever to Your Glory
I will sing.
I will lift Your Name on High Lord
And, in my life, Your Truth shall reign.

little hills VS mountains

Treat all your problems as little hills,
on the Highway of Life, that you climb.
They may require great effort,
but it's not impossible, you'll find!
Don't let imagination,
turn the hills into mountains for you,
for you will become disheartened,
thinking, you'll never come through!
So approach your hill of trouble today,
take it one step at a time,
and, keep your eyes on Jesus,
He will give you strength for the climb!

We Thank Thee, O God

First of all.. lets us thank HE because I'm back.... and for everthing HE has done...

I Thank you, Lord, for birds that sing,
For morning dew and bells that ring,
Children whose sticky candy fingers cling,
A button and a piece of string.

I thank you for wild flowers and trees,
For lady bugs and bumblebees,
For planes that fly the seven seas,
And mice that nibble at our cheese

I thank you for the babies small,
For the common folks that heed the call,
For men that grow so straight and tall,
And for the Christ who died for all.

I thank you for the cool of night,
For colors in the northern light,
For oceans reaching out of sight,
And for the thunder’s savage might.

I thank you for the new fallen snow,
For hearth fires warm, comforting glow,
For winds that whistle mean,
and blow, And for rooster’s timely crow

I thank you for the frost on roofs,
For frozen ground and noisy hoofs,
For fattening swine and his “Wuff Wuffs”,
And he never seems to get enough.

I thank you for the barley sheaves,
For wrens that twitter on the eaves,
For webs the busy spider weaves,
And chipmunks bouncing through the leaves

I thank you for your great rainbow,
For apple sauce and cookie dough,
For garden seeds to plant and grow,
And mother singing soft and low

Now who from my poor hands can rend,
Or who can greater riches lend?
Let me, Thy humble servant, tend,
This royal kingdom without end.

I hide my guilty head in shame,
When doubt doth dim my Saviour’s fame,
And I accept a lesser name,
Unmindful of just why He came.

I think of arguing and hate,
Of threats that could pronounce a fate.
There’s no reward for such a date,
And I would loose my thankful state.

I thank you for the things about,
As these we could not do without.
We’re healthy and vigorous and stout,
Forbid that we should ever doubt.

I thank you for the abiding part,
Where, Spirit born, we make our start,
By claiming an immortal heart.

Thus, from here on, our lives you chart,
Thank you for those to be,
And thank you for converting me.

Praise THE LORD...
